- You are required to be at least 25 years of age, with two prior years of experience
- Class A CDL
- Two years of verifiable commercial driving experience with a clean driving record. Exceptions can be made depending on the circumstances.
- A clean driving record means no preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last three years, up to one violation in the last two years, no DUIs, and in general showing care and safety while on the road.
- No felony convictions in last 7 years
- No positive OR refused drug and alcohol tests
- No repeatable CSA violations in the last two years
- No more than five companies that you worked for in the last three years
- Clean DAC report upon application submission
- Insurance coverage, including:
- Physical damage and occupational insurance
- Traveloko can offer both of these to you.
All of these criterias above are approved on a case by case basis by Traveloko and having all these does criterias met does not mean you are to be eligible.
- Yes, the orientations are done on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and you will most likely have your first load the same day.
- The orientations can last up to 6 hours and start at 8 am EST.
- They will take place at our terminal in Calhoun, GA
- No, there is no forced dispatch at Traveloko. You are completely in charge of where you wish to head, you decide.
- When the load is accepted we do not cancel.
- Currently, at Traveloko we have a plate program for owner operators with a CDL and Truck titled in Georgia.

- All drivers are responsible for fuel tax (IFTA) charges. In addition to regular IFTA, there are surcharge states (like KY, OR, or NY), and administrative processing fees of $75.00 per quarter.
- IFTA and our fees are deducted in the first week of each ending quarter.
- All drivers pay for auto-liability, physical damage, cargo insurance, and occupational insurance.
- Occupational insurance includes life insurance as well as disability coverage.
- Traveloko pays for general liability, contingent liability, and workmen compensation for our employees.
- Any driver that has a maintenance account setup for their equipment is eligible to receive additional support from Traveloko in the event of an equipment break-down.
- Any driver, lease or owner operator, that has a breakdown and is under a load, can get a FREE truck to complete that load.
- Any driver can park their equipment at our terminal free of charge.
- On a case by case basis, Traveloko may defer payments if the equipment has been in the shop for a long period of time.
- In some cases, Traveloko may approve break-down loans up to a predetermined amount as long as that driver has a maintenance account for the equipment that has a break-down.
- We have 24/7 support staff in the office to offer any assistance you might need with any issues on a driver’s load.
- We will accept any truck as long as it can have the ELD (Electronic Logging Device) installed in it.
